Mortgage Advice UK (Welcome)

Welcome to Mortgage Advice UK.

This Mortgage Information site has been designed with you (the visitor) in mind. That is why the information that I provide about Mortgages has been layed out into easy to read paragraphs; and a simple navigation structure.

The first step in finding you the right Mortgage is to understand your requirements. I have provided a simple Mortgage Checklist (below) to help you identify these needs.

  1. Can you afford the monthly re-payments on the Mortgage? - This is extremely important, because some Mortgages come with an "discounted" period; in which your first few Mortgage Repayments may be reduced.
  2. Included any ground rent and service charges for any leasehold properties as a cost in the affordability assessment?
  3. Does the Mortgage have Payment Protection Insurance attached? -- This can increase the amount that you have to repay.
Those are the top three questions that you should ask yourself before considering taking out a Mortgage.
